On March 12th, Projekt Ich released ”We Are The First feat. Electric City Cowboys“, the sixth single from the forthcoming second studio album which will be released via Echozone in autumn / winter 2021.

Following the successful debut album “By Train Through Countries” (2019), Ulf took a short creative break before getting back to work again. He produced several demo songs to continue the debut album’s proven concept of cooperating with various talented singers from all over the world.

This time, Ulf was able to get the vocal support of Martin Johansson from the Swedish synthpop trio Electric City Cowboys. Martin wrote the bilingual lyrics (verses in Swedish / chorus in English) dealing with social criticism. The bilingual singing concept switching between Swedish and English works again impeccably for “We Are The First” as it did for the previous single releases “The Stranger feat. Faltenhall" (German / English), “Sexy Silly Girl feat. Stereo In Solo" (French / English) and “Honey Cherie Honey feat. Stereo In Solo" (French / English).

Now, another version of the original track will be released in form of a special single edition.

Dutch producer Mike Di Bello (madbello) is totally committed to electronic house music and various other music styles. He created four remix versions of “We Are The First” which is – following the previous single releases “Sexy Silly Girl”, “That You Love Me” and “Society Class” – the fourth Madbello remix edition going along with the forthcoming second studio album by Projekt Ich.

Markus Kühnel from Noctural Studios designed the front cover as well as all further artwork for the single release. Jörg Tochtenhagen was responsible for the mastering.

Bereits am 12. März wurde die Single „We Are The First feat. Electric City Cowboys" von Projekt Ich als sechste Singleauskopplung vom kommenden zweiten Studioalbum, welches im Herbst / Winter 2021 über Echozone erscheinen wird, veröffentlicht.

Nach dem erfolgreichen Debütalbum „By Train Through Countries“ (2019) machte sich Ulf nach einer kurzen Kreativpause erneut ans Werk und produzierte kurzerhand einige Demosongs, um das bewährte Konzept des Debütalbums mit verschiedenen, talentierten Sänger*innen aus der ganzen Welt fortzusetzen.

Als Sänger konnte Ulf diesmal Martin Johansson vom Synthpop-Trio Electric City Cowboys aus Schweden verpflichten. Der zweisprachige Songtext (Strophen: Schwedisch / Refrain: Englisch) stammt direkt aus der Feder von Martin und setzt sich wiederum mit Sozialkritik auseinander. Das zweisprachige Gesangskonzept bei „We Are The First" zwischen schwedisch-englischem Wechselgesang funktioniert auch hier einwandfrei, genau wie bei den drei vorherigen Singleauskoppelungen „The Stranger feat. Faltenhall" (Deutsch / Englisch), „Sexy Silly Girl feat. Stereo In Solo" (Französisch / Englisch) und „Honey Cherie Honey feat. Stereo In Solo" (Französisch / Englisch).

Was jetzt folgt ist eine weitere Auskoppelung des Originaltitels in Form einer besonderen Single-Edition.

Der aus Holland stammende Produzent Mike Di Bello (madbello) hat sich der Produktion elektronischer House Music und diverser anderer Musikstile
verschrieben. Er kreierte insgesamt vier Remixe und liefert mit „We Are The First“ nach den vorangegangenen Single-Auskoppelungen „Sexy Silly Girl“, „That You Love Me“ und „Society Class“ bereits die vierte Madbello Remix-Edition zum kommenden zweiten Studioalbum von Projekt Ich.

Markus Kühnel von Noctural Studios entwarf für diese Single das Frontcover und alle weiteren Grafiken. Das Mastering wurde von Jörg Tochtenhagen erstellt.
