On January 18th, Projekt Ich aka Ulf Müller is going to release his eighth single by now from the upcoming debut album “By Train Through Countries” which will be released on Echozone in spring / summer 2019.

One might ask why this guy has released thousands of singles from only one album. Ulf Müller’s answer is: “I want to acknowledge every singer, and there are TWELVE of them on “By Train Through Countries” who participated in the project by lending their voices to the songs, with a proper single release including remixes from all around the world.”

Again, Ulf Müller was able to get the vocal support of Erik Stein from the British band Cult With No Name who already sang on the fourth single “This Time I’m Over You” (June 2018).

“Running” is about a couple that only lives together out of habit. Their love shatters and before they truly realise it, they subconsciously already know that the day will come when they will face each other to leave. Quote: "Running into the space, the place, we knew we’d face one day".

“Running” features the original track, six varied remixes by international artists as well as a remix instrumental version and the instrumental of the original song.

Remixes by Monotronic (USA), Areal Kollen (CN), Hidden Souls (ARG), Synthetic Content (DE), Imunar (DE) and Synthetik Form (BRA).

Markus Kühnel from Nocturnal Studios designed the front cover as well as all further artwork for the single release. Jörg Tochtenhagen is again responsible for the mastering.

Mit „Running“ veröffentlicht Projekt Ich alias Ulf Müller am 18. Januar die mittlerweile achte Singleauskoppelung vom geplanten Debütalbum „By Train Through Countries“, das im Frühjahr / Sommer 2019 auf Echozone erscheinen wird.

Manch einer wird sich fragen, warum der Typ gefühlte tausend Singles von nur einem Album veröffentlicht. Ulf Müllers Antwort darauf lautet: „Jeder/e Sänger/in, und es sind insgesamt ZWÖLF, die sich auf „By Train Through Countries“ mit ihrer Stimme künstlerisch eingebracht haben, soll gebührend mit einer Singleveröffentlichung samt Remix-Beiträgen aus aller Welt gewürdigt werden."

Für den Gesang konnte Ulf Müller erneut, wie schon bei der vierten Single „This Time I'm Over You“ vom Juli 2018, Erik Stein von der englischen Band Cult With No Name gewinnen.

„Running“ erzählt von einem Paar, das nur noch aus Gewohnheit zusammenlebt. Ihr Liebe zerspringt, und ehe sie es wahrhaft bemerken, ist es jedem von ihnen tief im Unterbewusstsein klar, dass der Tag kommen wird, an dem sie sich gegenüberstehen werden, um sich zu lösen. Zitat: "Running into the space, the place, we knew we’d face one day".

„Running“ beinhaltet den Originaltitel, sechs abwechslungsreiche Remixe von internationalen Künstlern sowie eine Remix-Instrumentalversion und das Instrumental des Originals.

Markus Kühnel von Noctural Studios entwarf für diese Single das Frontcover und alle weiteren Grafiken. Das Mastering wurde, wie auch schon bei der letzten Single „Time For Memories“, von Jörg Tochtenhagen erstellt.
