With ”Honey Cherie Honey“, Projekt Ich aka Ulf Müller is going to release the fourth single from the forthcoming second studio album which will be released via Echozone in autumn / winter 2021.

Following the successful debut album “By Train Through Countries” (2019), Ulf took a short creative break before getting back to work again. He produced several demo songs to continue the debut album’s proven concept of cooperating with various talented singers from all over the world.

For the second time, Ulf was able to get the vocal support of Thierry Noritop from Stereo In Solo who was also responsible for the lyrics and the vocals on “Sexy Silly Girl”. Thierry is co-founder of the French band STEREO – well-known for their underground hits “Somewhere In The Night“, “No More“, “Moonshine“ and “Waiting In Vain“. He wrote the lyrics and plays an important part in shaping the song by his remarkable voice and an excellently played guitar riff.

“Honey Cherie Honey” smoothly picks up where “Sexy Silly Girl” ends and takes the listener into a colourful musical landscape of the 80s. Thierry’s guitar play and alternating singing between French and English become more and more a trademark of both tracks.

“Honey Cherie Honey” features the original track as well as three amazing remixes by Noritop from France, Monotronic from Germany and Restriction 9 from Sweden plus an instrumental remix by Madbello from the Netherlands, an instrumental remix version and the original’s instrumental.

A lyric video of the song will be released at the same time.

Markus Kühnel from Nocturnal Studios designed the front cover as well as all further artwork for the single release. Jörg Tochtenhagen was responsible for the mastering.

Mit „Honey Cherie Honey“ veröffentlicht Projekt Ich alias Ulf Müller bereits die vierte Singleauskoppelung vom kommenden zweiten Studioalbum, welches im Herbst / Winter 2021 auf Echozone erscheinen wird.

Nach dem erfolgreichen Debütalbum „By Train Through Countries“ (2019) machte sich Ulf nach einer kurzen Kreativpause erneut ans Werk und produzierte kurzerhand einige Demosongs, um das bewährte Konzept des Debütalbums mit verschiedenen, talentierten Sänger*innen aus der ganzen Welt fortzusetzen.

Für den Gesang konnte Ulf bereits zum zweiten Mal Thierry Noritop von Stereo In Solo verpflichten, welcher sich auch schon für den Text und den Gesang von "Sexy Silly Girl" verantwortlich zeigte. Thierry ist Mitbegründer der französischen Band STEREO, welche Bekanntheit durch ihre Underground-Hits „Somewhere In The Night“, „No More“, „Moonshine“ und „Waiting In Vain“ erlangte. Er schrieb auch zu diesem Song den Songtext und formt den Song wiederum maßgeblich durch seine außergewöhnliche Stimme und ein tadellos eingespieltes Gitarrenriff.

„Honey Cherie Honey“ knüpft nahtlos an „Sexy Silly Girl“ an und entführt den geneigten Hörer in die farbenfrohe Musiklandschaft der 80er. Thierrys französisch-englischer Wechselgesang und sein Gitarrenspiel werden immer mehr zum Markenzeichen dieser beiden Titel.

„Honey Cherie Honey“ beinhaltet neben dem Originaltitel drei großartige Remixe von den Künstlern Noritop aus Frankreich, Monotronic aus Deutschland und Restriction 9 aus Schweden sowie einen Instrumental Remix von Madbello aus den Niederlanden, eine Instrumental Remix Version und das Instrumental des Originals.

Parallel zum Release wird ein Lyric-Video zum Song erscheinen.

Markus Kühnel von Noctural Studios entwarf für diese Single das Frontcover und alle weiteren Grafiken. Das Mastering wurde erneut von Jörg Tochtenhagen erstellt.
