On June 28th, Projekt Ich aka Ulf Müller is going to release “The Lightman” – his twelfth single by now from the upcoming debut album “By Train Through Countries” which will be released via Echozone on September 06th, 2019.

This time, Ulf Müller was able to get the vocal support of Oleg Degtiarev from Lilith My Mother / Russia. With his expressive and deep voice Oleg gives the song “The Lightman” the right atmosphere and, thus, shapes it decisively.

“The Lightman” is about people who hit rock bottom but still possess a gleam of hope in order to be able to come back by their own efforts. They call for “The Lightman” to strengthen them and to help them to get their lives back on track. Most of us are familiar with this kind of situation in live: aren’t we?

“The Lightman” features the original track, seven varied remixes by international artists as well as a remix instrumental version and the instrumental of the original song.

Remix contributions by Chris Ronin (DE), RMP (DE), Monotronic (DE), René Mußbach (DE), Areal Kollen (CN), Depechen (DE) and Ideophobia (RUS).

Markus Kühnel from Nocturnal Studios again designed the front cover as well as all further artwork for the single release. Jörg Tochtenhagen is responsible for the mastering.

Mit „The Lightman“ veröffentlicht Projekt Ich alias Ulf Müller nunmehr die zwölfte Singleauskoppelung vom kommenden Debütalbum „By Train Through Countries“, welches am 06. September 2019 auf Echozone erscheinen wird.

Für den Gesang konnte Ulf Müller diesmal den aus Russland stammenden Oleg Degtiarev von Lilith My Mother verpflichten. Oleg setzt mit seiner ausdrucksvollen, tiefen Stimmenfarbe den Titel „The Lightman“ erst richtig in Szene und prägt ihn dadurch maßgeblich.

„The Lightman“ handelt von Menschen, die gerade an einem Tiefpunkt in ihrem Leben stehen, aber immer noch einen Schimmer der Hoffnung in sich tragen, um sich aus eigener Kraft aus ihrem Tief zu befreien. „Der Lichtmann“, den sie in ihrer Not herbeirufen, soll Halt geben und ihnen dabei helfen, ihr Leben wieder in den Griff zu bekommen. Fast jeder von uns kennt diese Art von Lebenssituation: oder etwa nicht?

„The Lightman“ beinhaltet neben dem Originaltitel sieben abwechslungsreiche Remixe von internationalen Künstlern sowie eine Remix-Instrumentalversion und das Instrumental des Originals.
