With ”Pictures In My Head”, Projekt Ich aka Ulf Müller is going to release the eleventh single from the forthcoming second studio album which will be released via Echozone in May 2022.

Following the successful debut album “By Train Through Countries” (2019), Ulf took a short creative break before getting back to work again. He produced several demo songs to continue the debut album’s proven concept of cooperating with various talented singers from all over the world.

This time Ulf was able to get the vocal support of Marcelo Andrea, mastermind of the electropop duo Expreso Maniquí from Buenos Aires / Argentina who wrote the Spanish lyrics in his native tongue and created the striking vocal melody of "Pictures In My Head".

“Pictures In My Head” describes incoherent dream fragments. At the end of these dream sequences which are not arranged in a logical order, an animal dies in an unnatural way. However, it remains unclear how it happens. This deadly nightmare is interrupted by dreamscapes filled with understanding, innocence, indifference or weightlessness.
Will today’s dreamer become tomorrow’s offender?

The single "Pictures In My Head" features the original track as well as eight outstanding remixes by bands and artists like People Theatre (FR), POS.:2 (DE), Madbello (NL), YellowFin Tuner (CA), Steffrey Yan (CA), MOYOM (CA), Blackened (CA) and U.M. Fiedel (DE), instrumental remix versions by People Theatre, POS.:2 and U.M. Fiedel plus the original’s instrumental.

A video of the song will be released at the same time.

Mit „Pictures In My Head“ veröffentlicht Projekt Ich alias Ulf Müller aktuell die elfte Singleauskoppelung vom kommenden zweiten Studioalbum, welches voraussichtlich im Mai 2022 auf Echozone erscheinen wird.

Nach dem erfolgreichen Debütalbum „By Train Through Countries“ (2019) machte sich Ulf nach einer kurzen Kreativpause erneut ans Werk und produzierte kurzerhand einige Demosongs, um das bewährte Konzept des Debütalbums mit verschiedenen, talentierten Sänger*innen aus der ganzen Welt fortzusetzen.

Als Sänger konnte Ulf diesmal Marcelo Andrea, Kopf des Electropop-Duos Expreso Maniquí aus Buenos Aires / Argentinien verpflichten, der den Songtext in seiner spanischen Muttersprache verfasste und darüber hinaus die sehr prägende Gesangsmelodie von „Pictures In My Head“ schuf.

„Pictures In My Head“ beschreibt wirre Traumfetzen. In diesen nicht logisch aneinandergereihten Traumsequenzen kommt am Ende ein Tier auf unnatürliche Weise zu Tode. Wie das genau geschieht bleibt jedoch unklar. Unterbrochen wird dieser für das Tier tödlich endende Alptraum immer wieder durch Traumräume, die gefüllt sind mit Verständnis, Unschuld, Gleichgültigkeit oder Schwerelosigkeit.
Wird der Träumer vielleicht morgen schon ein Täter sein?

Die Single „Pictures In My Head“ beinhaltet neben dem Originaltitel acht beeindruckende Remixe von den Bands und Künstlern People Theatre (FR), POS.:2 (DE), Madbello (NL), YellowFin Tuner (CA), Steffrey Yan (CA), MOYOM (CA), Blackened (CA) und U.M. Fiedel (DE) sowie die Instrumental Remix-Versionen von People Theatre, POS.:2 und U.M. Fiedel und die Instrumentalversion des Originals.

Parallel zum Release wird ein Video erscheinen.
