After the successful debut album “By Train Through Countries” (2019) and numerous extended single releases, Projekt Ich from Rosenheim / Bavaria (Germany) is going to release their second studio album “Freedom For All” via the German indie label Echozone.
Project manager Ulf Müller refined the concept of the debut album in order to create even more individual compositions with the help of a variety of international vocalists by having each singer write their own lyrics and compose their own vocal line to accomplish a highly artistical identity. On top of that, the songs are mainly presented in the vocalists’ native language (English, French, Spanish, Swedish, Russian, Brunner German (Austrian idiom) and German) or bilingually (native tongue and English as global language) which supports the unlimited, international and highly individual character of the album.
“Freedom For All” features fifteen varied songs in total which range from alternative pop and electronic to 80s and retro styles. The same-titled opener is keenly performed by five vocalists (Catrine Christensen / SoftWave (DK), Marcus Mokuso / Rename – Mindmodvl (DE), Michael Draw / Otto Dix (RU), Oleg Degtiarev / Lilith My Mother (CZ), René Mußbach / Analogue-X (DE)) from the debut album to emphasise the statement MUSIC CONNECTS PEOPLE. Five of the fifteen songs are special edit versions with a very unique sound due to Georg Kallenbach’s (DE) superb saxophone playing. Two songs are performed by Thierry Noritop (FR) who displays his excellent guitar play. Both songs “You Can It” and “The Time Is Running” are presented by Ulf Müller himself and conclude the album in an impressive way.

The album songs deal with global and social topics, but also tell private and fictional stories about love, yearning, dreams, devastation, rage, depression, despair, greed right up to self-abandonment.
Thirteen of the fifteen songs have been released beforehand in form of extended singles featuring remixes of international artists as well as video clips or lyric videos in order to thank and put a spotlight on every vocalist and remixer who contributed to the making of this album.
In addition to a total running time of 64 minutes, the album comes with an incredible digital single catalogue consisting of 221 tracks running up to a total running time of more than 20 hours.

Nach dem erfolgreichen Debütalbum „By Train Through Countries“ von 2019 und zahlreichen Extended Singleauskoppelungen veröffentlicht Projekt Ich aus Rosenheim mit „Freedom For All“ das zweite Studioalbum auf dem deutschen Indie-Label Echozone.
Projektleiter Ulf Müller verfeinerte das Konzept des Debütalbums, um seine Kompositionen mit einer Vielzahl internationaler Sänger*innen noch persönlicher zu gestalten, indem jede Sängerin und jeder Sänger den Songtext schreibt und die Gesangsmelodie kreiert, um dadurch eine hochkünstlerische Identität zu schaffen. Darüber hinaus werden die Songs hauptsächlich in den Muttersprachen (Englisch, Französisch, Spanisch, Schwedisch, Russisch, Brunner-Deutsch [Dialekt] und Deutsch) oder zweisprachig (Muttersprache und Weltsprache Englisch) aller Sänger*innen gesungen, was den grenzenlosen, internationalen und höchst individuellen Charakter des Albums weiter unterstreicht.
„Freedom For All“ besteht aus insgesamt fünfzehn abwechslungsreichen Songs, die sich in alternative Pop-, Elektronik-, 80er- und Retro-Stile einordnen lassen. Der gleichnamige Opener wurde von fünf Sängerinnen und Sängern (Catrine Christensen / SoftWave (DK), Marcus Mokuso / Rename – Mindmodvl (DE), Michael Draw / Otto Dix (RU), Oleg Degtiarev / Lilith My Mother (CZ), René Mußbach / Analogue-X (DE)) vom Debütalbum mit einem hohen Maß an Leidenschaft gesungen, und damit das Statement MUSIC CONNECTS PEOPLE unterstrichen. Fünf der fünfzehn Songs sind Special Edit-Versionen, welche durch die hervorragende Saxophon-Performance von Georg Kallenbach (DE) einzigartig klingen. Die Songs auf dem Album thematisieren nicht nur weltliche und gesellschaftliche Themen, sondern erzählen auch persönliche und fiktive Geschichten über Liebe, Sehnsucht, Träume, Zerstörung, Wut, Traurigkeit, Verzweiflung, Gier bis hin zur Selbstaufgabe.
Dreizehn der insgesamt 15 Songs wurden im Vorfeld als Extended Singles inklusive Remixe internationaler Künstler*innen und als Videos bzw. Lyric Videos veröffentlicht, um allen Sängerinnen, Sängern, Remixerinnen und Remixern zu danken, die an der Entstehung des Albums mitgewirkt haben.
Mit einer Gesamtspielzeit von 64 Minuten bietet das Album darüber hinaus einen unglaublichen Digitalkatalog von Singles mit 221 Titeln, die insgesamt über 20 Stunden Spielzeit ergeben.
